Before reading on, have you used my free Body Shape Calculator yet? Knowing your measurements is necessary to knowing your true shape. After you’ve laid the foundation to your fashion empire, let’s start building!

Rectangle Shape 📦:

      • If your bust, waist, and hips are all in a straight line, you’re rocking the rectangle shape. Create the illusion of curves with peplum tops, belts, and dresses that hug your body in all the right places. Crop tops and high-waisted bottoms will give you the illusion of a cinched waist.

    Inverted Triangle Shape🔄:

        • This one’s for the broad-shouldered babes with narrow hips. Balance things out by adding volume and interest to your lower half with flared jeans, A-line skirts, and flowy pants. Opt for V-neck tops to create the illusion of a narrower upper body.

Now, why is knowing your body shape so crucial? Well, lovelies, it’s like having the ultimate fashion cheat code! When you understand your body’s natural proportions, you can pick clothes that enhance your best features and downplay any areas you’re not so keen on.

Not only does this boost your confidence and make you feel like a total boss babe, but it also saves you time and money. No more buying clothes that look stunning on the mannequin or model but leave you feeling meh. You’ll be strutting your stuff with style and grace, turning heads wherever you go!

So, whether you’re 30, 40, or even 50, knowing your body shape is the secret sauce to looking and feeling incredible in your fashion choices. It’s all about celebrating what makes you uniquely you and owning every moment. Get out there, slay and make every day your runway!

        Hourglass Shape 🕒:

            • Classic Hourglass: is all about that killer curve action! Your bust and hips are beautifully balanced with a cinched waist. Think Marilyn Monroe or Beyoncé. Embrace bodycon dresses, wrap tops, and high-waisted jeans to accentuate those curves. You want to flaunt what your mama gave you!
            • Top Hourglass: A top hourglass has a narrower waist and a more pronounced bust compared to the hips and thighs, resulting in a curvy upper body and a slightly narrower lower body.
            • Bottom Hourglass: The bottom hourglass shape has a narrower waist with wider hips and thighs, creating a pronounced hourglass figure with curves concentrated in the lower body.

          Pear Shape 🍐:

              • If you’re wider at the hips than your shoulders, you’re rocking the pear shape. Your goal is to balance things out. Highlight your upper body with boat neck tops, statement necklaces, and flirty patterns. Darker hues on the bottom can help minimize attention there. For reference: I am an example of a pear shape, but I often opt to accentuate my lower half because I prefer the look of a larger hip/booty in my overall silhouette.

            Apple Shape 🍏:

                • Apple-shaped beauties have broader shoulders and a fuller midsection. Empire waist dresses and A-line skirts are your BFFs. Show off those toned legs with some fierce shorts or skirts, and don’t forget to invest in well-fitted bras to keep the girls looking sharp!

              Rectangle Shape 📦:
